Odisha defender Jabamani Tudu retained her place in the Indian women’s football team for the COTIF Cup International Tournament, scheduled to be held in L’Alcudia, Valencia (Spain) from July 28 to August 8, 2019. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced a 22-member Indian team today.
Meanwhile, the newly released FIFA World Rankings saw the Indian women`s national team placed at the 57th spot, making a jump of six places. The Indian women are now ranked 11th in Asia, with Australia topping the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), ranked 8th in the world.
INDIAN WOMEN TEAM:

Defenders: Ashalata Devi, Sweety Devi, Jabamani Tudu, Michel Castanha, Papki Devi, Samiksha.
